Cute little place on the middle of a residential neighborhood. We enjoyed our dinner immensely ~ food excellent, cooked perfectly to order, drinks wonderful, waitstaff exceptional. Overall, an amazing experience! Highly recommend when you are in this area, just remember to make a reservation early in the day!

Great place! Food was amazing. Service was personable and friendly. Got the feeling that it was a small place but the selection was a big fancy restaurant. Planning on returning soon.

My husband surprized me and took me here tonight for lobster, as our annual anniversary tradition. Casa Mia never disappoints. The service was fabulous and the food was scrumsious. This is my favor restaurant. A wonderful place to spend our 19th Anniversay. Thank you to my adorable husband and thank you to Casa Mia.

So so good !!! We celebrate our anniversary every year here... the owner makes his rounds throughout the night. Very personable awesome place.

The ambiance was awesome and the steaks are so big they can be shared with 2-3 people. I didn't share. A little pricey but so worth every penny.

Good food great service

This is a very nice little steakhouse a short drive from Starved Rock in a town of 600 people. It serves prime steak, seafood, and Italian comfort food. It is not cheap but the food is very good. Homemade salad dressings and a delicious portabello mushroom steak sauce. The servers are very nice and attentive. The decor is a throwback to the old style supper clubs but still very nice. The dining room has about 12 tables which makes it intimate and you should call for reservations. The only drawback is they charge you to use a credit card so bring cash or stop at an ATM.

Great ambiance, nice people, and DELICIOUS FOOD! My husband and my three boys are planning a trip to the area again just so we can go and dine back!

Awesome food, service and atmosphere!!

What a great place. Definitely off the beaten path but worth the effort. Steaks were the best I have had in a long time. Looking forward to going back!

Last Saturday night we had a terrific meal and spent an interesting time with friends and fellow diners at this fantastic restaurant. Great food one might not expect for the remoteness of the place. It is reminiscent of Wisconsin supper clubs only better. Expect to wait even with a reservation. It becomes obvious when you arrive and see the small, cozy dining room. You also just don't want to leave once your seated. Well worth the wait for really great food.

We've sent reviews multiple time, had "Ok" service, nothing to justify the price....

The food was very good and excellent service. The salmon was reasonably priced with a large portion. The Oysters Rockefeller were delicious. Look forward to returning.

Owners are very friendly. Steaks are BIG. Place is quaint. If you get the chance, go here. Food is good and cooked right. I had the filet but think the ribeye was a bit better. Enjoy!

Love going to Casa Mia’s. Great food, friendly owner and staff at a quaint cozy restaurant located in the heart of a neighborhood. Don’t ever mind the 45 minute drive it takes to get there. It’s well worth the trip.

Great hospitality, bar. steak and seafood in the tradition of the best Italian steakhouses. Reservations usually needed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Ordered a New York steak, the thing that came out was HUGE! The owner/chef came out and said it was hand butchered/picked by him that day. Owner/Chef personally came out and shook everyone's hand and asked how there dinner was. I have seen him do that on many separate occasions. That 'personal' touch is not found anymore. Wow I didn't even talk about how great the food was too! This is a high class restaurant but located in a small town. Normally you would find a place like this in a large city and book reservations way in advance. Not this place, called that day and got in that day. Very cozy feeling

Best steak house ever!

First time, service was EXCELLENT, thanks Lisa for your attention... Food was AMAZING, incredible flavors and great food.. if you don't stop by, you will never know what you are missing....

Exceptional hidden gem. service with a smile, the owner goes table to table. (most are local regulars) and food is 1st Class. high prices but quality meat and fresh food. unique menu, friend told us about it and loved it. call for reservations.

SERIOUSLY try the mouse cake! This place is tiny with limited parking, you MUST have a reseravtion. They have this monster lobster on the menu, it was huge, it was slightly over cooked but still good, it looks like a place left over from the era of prohibition. There is more space at the bar then there are tables. The staff was friendly and service was quicker than I expected.

My wife and I had our first wedding anniversary here and it was absolutely amazing. From being greeted upon arrival to the owner introducing himself and checking on us. All the staff was fantastic. The dumbwaiter was a cool vibe and obviously works great for their flawless operation. My wife had the scallops and I had the NY strip and it was the thickest steak I’ve ever seen lol. Food was absolute 5 star. This was our first time and we can’t wait to return.

It is a shame that this business has anything less than 5 stars. It's amazing! The owner is super friendly, the staff is professional. Well worth the drive and the price. I would give it 10 stars if possible. AMAZING!

GREAT FOOD, we all had something different & it was all REALLY GOOD. The owner came out to personally see all the guests, he even remembered my name from 1 short visit. NICE cozy atmosphere! GREAT OLD BAR! We'll be back!!

Absolutely amazing. The staff was the best and food even better. Will definitely be going there again and again.

Had a great dinner there. I had the petite filet and my date had the New York strip. The strip steak was huge, both were cooked as ordered. We also ordered the portobello mushroom appetizer, sliced mushrooms in a sauce you put over grilled toasts--saved the extra sauce, per waitress suggestion, to top our steaks, the sauce was wonderful. As always, I loved their creamy garlic dressing on cold crunchy lettuces.

Overall good. Oysters were incredible, good service. Steaks served with undercooked whole potatoe, table bread sort of generic for Italian restaurant. Expected a touch more with the price, is higher than the menu on their photos fyi. Was by no means disappointed.
